"'I don't have a candidate I'm supporting and I'm certainly interested and excited by the hope that Barack Obama is inspiring,' he said, but went on to accuse him of a 'phenomenally inhuman and unconstitutional' voting record.
"'I hope that he will understand, if he is the nominee, the degree of disillusionment that will happen if he doesn't become a greater man than he will ever be,' Penn said."
Too bad the press didn't go more in-depth on the "inhuman and unconstitutional" comment. I'd be interested to know what exactly he was referencing.
As for Penn's last sentence, didn't really make much sense: "If he doesn't become a greater man than he ever will be." HUH?? LOL, goofy Sean Penn.

Actually makes perfect sense. Break it down - Penn is saying that Obama has generated so much hope-hype that his supporters will be greatly disappointed unless his leadership after the election rises to meet the mark of his hype before the election.
Penn is also suggesting that Obama doesn't have it in him for his leadership to rise to the level of his hype.
Funny that Penn is getting bashed for this. I would have expected that the list's reactionary dull-normals would be in agreement one hundred percent.

I don't think his brain has shrunk because that would be saying he had one. This man keeps trying to be relevant but never quite makes it. What a moonbat.

Oh I dont know bout that.
WE Christian Conservatives LOVE Hollywood.
We believe in it. And we vote the way Hollywood tells us.
Thats why we always vote for Actors that become politicans.
Well, liek Ronald Reagan, Ahnold Swartzenagger, Fred Grandy, Fred Thompson, Sonny Bono, James Cavieziel, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammer, and Jesse Ventura.
Fact is, if we Righties see you on TV - thats as good as bein blessed by Jesus.

Yeah, sucks when entertainment and news collide. The reporter could have had a decent story with some follow-up questions. But, must have been there for the movies and sunshine and parties
