Asked if he would be joining other Hollywood A-listers in pledging support for Obama, Penn gave him a less than ringing endorsement and warned that he has an awful lot to live up to.

"'I don't have a candidate I'm supporting and I'm certainly interested and excited by the hope that Barack Obama is inspiring,' he said, but went on to accuse him of a 'phenomenally inhuman and unconstitutional' voting record.

"'I hope that he will understand, if he is the nominee, the degree of disillusionment that will happen if he doesn't become a greater man than he will ever be,' Penn said."

Too bad the press didn't go more in-depth on the "inhuman and unconstitutional" comment. I'd be interested to know what exactly he was referencing.

As for Penn's last sentence, didn't really make much sense: "If he doesn't become a greater man than he ever will be." HUH?? LOL, goofy Sean Penn.

I hear he's been on steroids for a while now, maybe his balls have shrunk as much as they can and now his brain is shrinking?

As much as I dont like BHO, I like Sean "Wingnut" Penn even less. I am sure BHO is shaking in his boots with a WARNING from a sackless libtard like Penn.

oh wait, BHO is a typical liberal clown so I am sure he is really upset that Penn is not happy.

    Classic!

Actually makes perfect sense. Break it down - Penn is saying that Obama has generated so much hope-hype that his supporters will be greatly disappointed unless his leadership after the election rises to meet the mark of his hype before the election.

Penn is also suggesting that Obama doesn't have it in him for his leadership to rise to the level of his hype.

Funny that Penn is getting bashed for this. I would have expected that the list's reactionary dull-normals would be in agreement one hundred percent.

I am a little confused...In the article they say they think this is one of the most important elections in history, or words to that effect, but then say they do not have a candidate. What did I miss here?

Penn is a fine one to caution Obama.

I don't think his brain has shrunk because that would be saying he had one. This man keeps trying to be relevant but never quite makes it. What a moonbat.

Personally, I am phenomenally disillusioned that Sean Penn hasn't become a greater actor than he ever should have been.

          That's a statement I'd go along with.

Penn's early promise, on-screen, has not yet amounted to a "great" career, by any means.

Oh I dont know bout that.

            WE Christian Conservatives LOVE Hollywood.

We believe in it. And we vote the way Hollywood tells us.

Thats why we always vote for Actors that become politicans.

Well, liek Ronald Reagan, Ahnold Swartzenagger, Fred Grandy, Fred Thompson, Sonny Bono, James Cavieziel, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammer, and Jesse Ventura.

Fact is, if we Righties see you on TV - thats as good as bein blessed by Jesus.

Yeah, sucks when entertainment and news collide. The reporter could have had a decent story with some follow-up questions. But, must have been there for the movies and sunshine and parties

A liberal actor sees Obama's voting record as way too far left.
