    Are you saying this guy who knocked her up is going to be living with her and the child? That the child is going to have a father, on site, who will actively help in the raising of the child? I doubt it. Just another single mother, albeit a rich one. Unfortunately one of the factors for poverty is a single mother in the real world. But I gave up years ago on expecting Hollywood to be concerned about being moral role models.

      I didn't know you had to share an address to be in a childs life and help raise them. I need to let my large extended family know that they didn't matter so much after all.
      Also, if you are not your child's biggest role model you've done something wrong. And my mom always taught me that you can't do everything you see on tv. It's always better to have parents not married and living apart than put a child in a bad situation because parents don't get along or even hate each other.

If you think absentee parents can have much of a real, positive impact on a child you are very wrong. Sure weekend custody is better than no contact, but it still is a sorry substitute for a parent in the home, with the child.
        As far as fighting parents, then I agree with you. But that still doesn't negate the need for a husband and wife to raise a child.

  She is a ****** and is having a bastard baby. Now if that is the kind of person you want as a role model for youngsters, then you are equally misguided. But I guess it helps explain the 70% bastard rate for blacks and 40% plus for whites. Those kids are born at a disadvantage and the crime statistics bears this out. I guess we can just keep building more jails.

    I think you're pretty obtuse if you are ensuing that your 70% "bastard rate" for blacks (btw, where did you get this number) is second to genetic predisposition. I will agree that there is a disparity in abstentee fathers in african american families however, this is likely secondary to socio-economic constraitnts and would be reflective in WHITE families of similar disadvantage. And do i understand you right... your premise is: single family homes= children who are criminals?!? Well with 50% of all marriages ending in divorce I guess we should "keep building more jails"
