I must say she looked her best in 1998, a close second is 2004 and the worst is 2001.

I agree Aaron, but unfortunately, she might not be capable of focusing on anything else :)

Her nose was cute in 98, its hooked now. I wonder if she had a nose job that did that.

Paris Hilton--the corporate weapon of mass distraction. We are more clueless than she to pay any attention to her. And yet she must sell plenty of consumer goods or she and all the other spoiled little starlets wouldn't command so much media attention.
"Hear this word, you cows of Bashan who are on the mountain of Samaria, Who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, Who say to your husbands, 'Bring now, that we may drink!'"

I dont understand why people keep the hype about her ? Why dont we pay attention to things that matter more, or at least just a little more than Paris Hilton ?
I just feel like throwing up when I see that journalists really think that Paris Hilton is the most important news, or at least ranks pretty important to be mentioned in the same half hour with the war, immigration or social security .
People wake up !

Amos 4:1 has been in my head about this country since I heard my excellent Old Testament teacher--a liberal Unitarian minister--read it to our class at my alma mater 35 years ago. It is so fitting for this capitalistic, materialistic culture, where even many of the fundamentalist mega-churches are organized around supporting the corporate culture and consumerism.
We are interested in Paris and all her clones because they represent what many of us would secretly like to become--a bunch of empty-headed immoral nitwits enjoying the latest luxuries, lecheries, and toys.
This is what we are. This is why there is a moral bill coming due. It's not so much about religion as it is about a law of physics:
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When any system becomes as unstable as ours has become--morally and economically--there comes a moment when the house of cards disintegrates.
