  Why are people so unwilling to look at this issue? Could it be the absolute horrors of the answers will disrupt entire belief systems. My God, we are not talking about a religion. We are talking about a crime that was done to each and every one of us. Therefore there should be no secrets and no cover-up. 911 was an inside job. BELIEVE your eyes.

      The Heavens Gate Cult, had proof, and they firmly believed in what they suspected. And by the freedom of speech, they had the right to go out and firmly implant their ideas into the brains of anyone who would listen. To wallow in the ideas that they had concocted in their own brains, but some strange vision that they had at one time. "Evidence"

      Many people were led astray, and lost their lives because of people who excersized their free speech.

      I do not want free speech to be threatened, but I do applaud those who stand up and charge those who try to inflict America with destructive, implosive ideas that offer nothing but harm to the American community.

    to this day I've wanted someone, anyone, to explain away the "put" options that were bought on Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter (they oppcupied 22 floors of the WTC) in the three days leading up to 911.

    Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter had 2,157 of its "put" options bought in the three trading days before 911.

    That's an average of 719 put options per day.

    Up until September 6, the average number of Morgan Stanley put options sold per day: 27

    thats a 26-fold increase.

    so someone knew in advance that Morgan Stanley's stock was going to fall.

      Ok, I have to ask this. I cant believe Im letting myself get drawn into this debate again, but I have a question about your Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter point.

      How many of their employees were killed in the attacks? Are you implying that they knew of the attacks, and none of them showed up for work that day, knowing the attack would happen? Or did they cash in on this knowledge, only to die terrible deaths three days later, gaining nothing in the end?

      I have no problem with people asking questions. I do have a problem with people not accepting answers. For example, WTC 7, which people keep bringing up as proof - took damage to over 25% of its lower 18 floors. That, plus the extensive fire damage is enough to bring the building down.

      Ask questions, find the answers, and then move on.

    Many people have looked into this. Conspiracy buffs from around the world have joined together to suggest the craziest idea yet; The government of the U.S. assisted the terrorists in bringing down the towers. While nothing of this sort occurred, this view is more enticing to these type of people.

    The interesting aspect of this story is the effort her staff is trying to do in damage control. She is desperately seeking help. Her low self image and what might be "trouble" in her relationship is obvious. Rosie was not "seeking," she was "stating." The difference is clear: she was already convinced of the conspiracy and as she disclosed the information, the folks watching were stunned by her extraordinary view.

    Her distortions are extensions of a depressed mind and low esteem. She needs intervention. I hope she has one friend to help in a suicide watch over the next 90 days.

    Why are people so unwilling to look at this issue? Let me count the ways:

    1) Engineering experts already explain how all the buildings came down and these reports were carried on all major networks plus CNN, MSNBC and Fox News with specials on The Discovery Channel and History Channels.

    Rosie: "Fire can't melt steal!"

    Every been to a blacksmith shop or steel mill? Heat is used to weaken and bend metal or even liguify it. This wasn't some simple office fire, it was a fire started by a major explosion then excelerated by jet fuel which burns much hotter and longer than any office furniture or paper.

    Rosie: "Building 7 couldn't implode without explosives placed inside!"

    The WTC complex was not built to withstand direct hits by jet airliners and then the colapse of the twin towers creating a downward rush of air and debri plus generating earthquake force tremors in neighboring buildings. That's why all the neighboring buildings were vacated.

      To say the gov't ran into building 7 with explosives to blow it up also implies that all the emeregency workers (police, fire, etc) were told to look the other way as they searched the building to vacate survivors and ignore it. Why hasn't even one witness come forward to say they saw any of this happen?

      2) Rosie talks about terrorists "being parents, too."

      Parents who teach their children at a young age that it is an honor to die for Allah. Have you been watching the news reports about this? The documentaries?

      3) If Bush wasn't President this would be a NONE ISSUE. If Gore was President at the time (and before anyone goes off on this vein please remember that every recount by every news agency (CNN, Newsweek, Time, USA Today, NY Times, BBC, LA Times, etc.) and other independent or political groups still found Bush the winner in Fla. - look it up) do you really think Rosie, Charlie Sheen and other Liberal Democrats would be running this garbage out.

        Do we read of daily Christian suicide bombers running into crowded squares or public transport blowing themselves up and all around them. Do were hear of daily kidnappings and beheadings in the name of God. Is there a "Christian University" (similiar to the "Muslim University" in Iran) that has trained over a million of America's youth how to be suicide bombers and that there is no greater honor for you or your family than to die in the name of God to kill the infidels.

        Rosie needs to watch who she is supporting with her statements because the true course of Islam is to make it the only religion. Muhhamed cleary stated that life is Jihad and that infidels must convert or die. If we were an Islamic state Rosie would have her children taken away and she and her wife would be jailed or executed for their sexual preference. Think before you speak.

          1.) legislate away our rights to things like freedom of speech and religion

          2.) change our education system into the laughing stock of the world - as a devout Muslim friend said "My kids know that the world is older than 4,000 years and that nature evolves! They're not ignorant!" Many public schools systems now teach only a religious view of science, hardly preparing our kids for entering universities & the world.

          3.) make torture legal anywhere in the world as long as it is done by Americans, habeus corpus non-existant, and indefinite detention without arrest warrant or access to a lawyer legal for all Americans here at home.

          Mohammed did NOT say that infidels must convert or die.

          Jihad is your struggle to leave this earth a better place than you entered it and it is not permitted to murder people to do that.

            There are lots of ways to kill a country, its values and its form of government.

            Getting people to stop asking questions - however silly you think they are - is a good way to make sure democracy dies at the root.

            Our forefather and mothers have died by the thousands for Rosie's right to exist, to talk, to write, and to question.

            If you don't like living in a country where people ask questions, go live in a country where you can't.

            The price of liberty is eternal vigilence - and ol' T. Jefferson did not mean being vigilent AGAINST freedom of speech. He was the same fellow who wrote that a people have the right and duty to overthrow their government if it suppresses their essential rights and freedoms.

            I think it was Ben Franklin who held that the man who would give up his freedoms for a temporary security does not deserve to have them.

An anything goes attitude destroys a country from within. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

              It's one thing to ask questions when there are no clear answers but to stir up controversy and conspiracy when there is very clear evidence and explanations that have already answered the questions asked. Ego and ignorance are not a good reason.

              Ol' T. Jefferson was writing in direct support of The Declaration of Indepence and overthrowing ol' King George.

And a "Devout Muslim" believes that Allah was the god of Abraham and believes in creationism. Read the Koran. And, by Biblical accounts, the world is about 7000 years old.               1. Most of the time the person shouted down is Ann Coulter, someone who is universally recognized as not standing in for conservative interests. She is usually the main target, the people who invite her always hide behind the notion that she represents the other side. However, she is a vile woman filled with hatred. Not unlike say Rosie.

              2. Whether or not the Muslim countries teach whatever they want doesnt really matter one way or another. As far as creationism this is serious matter and it has been soundly defeated in every attempt for it to brought up into public schools. In terms of countries that have a good understanding of Evolution the US ranks abyssmally low.

        Months and weeks prior to 9/11 there were multiple evacuations for extended periods where everyone had to leave the buildings of time as well as mysterious power outages.

        Bomb sniffing dogs were also pulled from the WTC weeks before 9/11.

        As an Engineer, I was surprised by the fall of the buildings, but then thinking back to how they are constructed, rivets are all that keep it together, they are put in hot and set when they cool, so what would happen if you heated them back up again. POP

        Prior to 9/11 not one high rise designer took into account that an airliner would stirke the building. There are designed to sway in the wind, some earthquake engineering is done depending on local and maybe some engineering for a small plane crash. To try and account for a commercial jet impact (what size), explosive force and volume of burning fuel wasn't done.

        I haven't meet an construction engineer yet that has ever taken that into account prior to 9/11.

        Designers by the way, design, they turn it over to engineers for the details.

        Funny: I listened to The Project Engineer and what he said

        was that it was designed to take the impact of a 707 and not

        a 767. He also said that the effects of the Fuel was NOT taken into account NOR could have it been. He doesn't think

        that they could even figure fuel effects in Design Today. The WTC was his BABY and he is very sickened and downhearted

        about the colapse.

    Well, that's your opinion. Anyone can make a case on limited evidents which is what everyone is doing because all you know is what they want you to know and that's the way it will stay. If the governments story didn't have too many holes in it, the people might have accepted it at face value but when there are issues that are brushed off as CT and not explained, it will continue to be in doubt.

    And, as an educator, I would remark that the students who don't ask questions are not by definition the bright ones. They are all too often the ones who learn less. The ones who aren't interested. The ones who follow the crowd and don't want to think independently.

    Any good teacher will tell you:

    There is no such thing as a dumb question.

    There might be some dumb answers.

    I agree, instead of calling them fools or idiot, why not go over their points one by one and debate the issues. If it is in fact true that the 9/11 was an attack by radicals in planes without any other help to bring down the buildings, there would be no problem with a closed door debate over evidents. That's why courts have trials because government says one thing and the defense say another.

It's up to YOU to make the case. If you have evidence, present it at a trial, or give it to your favorite Democratic Congressman.

        No-one's making an allegation against your character. People are asking legitimate questions about holes in the official story - and the story, if it is true, should be able to stand up to questioning. And the truthers would absolutely love this to get as far as a court of law - but seeing as it won't, how about you defend your beliefs?

    If the employees of MorganStanley knew in advance it goes along that other investment houses also knew.. And not a single employee or trader or associate felt compelled to bring this pre-event knowledge to the attention of anyone. They knew this was going to happen and simply sat back and watched in glee as they had already secured their profits. After the fact they were all so pleased with their profits that again even though those profits came at the cost of overt 3000 lives, they felt it was all worth it and we should all continue to coverup the real truth of the incident. Bush did it.

  It's a horrible thing to think that there could be rogues within our own governement that would sponser, provoke, or allow an attack on our home soil in order to restrict our liberties or to get financial gain. It's so horrible to think such a thing could actually happen since we've found in the past that we've done such things on foreign soil. It's horrible to think it could ever happen here.

  What if people were just closing their eyes like the Germans did with the Nazis and believing that if we just kept our mouths shut everything would go back to the way it was before? Scary thoughts for scary times.

  I didn't read the attached story, I don't see the point. Rosie's opinion as well as most of the criticism towards George Bush is born of hatred for him rather than any genuine observation. With job approval ratings hovering below 30% there should be no problem pushing this 911 idiocy or any other anti-Bush message through. Bush himself has been his opponents greatest ally as he waits far too late to defend himself against accusation and in an attempt to calm the forces against him reaches out and accepts blame and responsibility as a gesture of good faith playing right into his adversaries hand.

  But this 911 idiocy is so stupid it insults even the anti-Bush forces that would have to present it as credible to use it against him. Rosie is just a loud mouth idiot, and the only legitimate question she raises is that of her sanity. But that's not a question for me, I already know the answer.
