    Well, they said the funeral was going to be 'over the top', like her life. At least she is finally going to be laid to rest. The feeding frenzy to this point has been ridiculous.

      yes, it has.... unfortunately i dont think itll end soon... there will always be speculation surrounding her and her sons deaths. on the positive side, maybe it will lead to answers. on the negative side, its really sad to say (but still true) that there is money to be made off her and her sons deaths. even sadder still that there are those who will be willing to make that money with no thought about the morality of doing so.

    I think both she and her son's deaths were tragic and not murder. I think her mother is horrible, wanting to cash in on her daughter in death. Thank goodness she lost her bid to Anna's body. Could you have seen the tombstone with a combo ticket booth? Now she's trying to help move her grandson's body back to the US when she should just let them lie together in the Bahamas.

  I think anyone with a soul can understand the tragedy that was the life of Anna NIcole and her son, and now motherless child DannieLynn. Hoewever, I am disgusted by the amount of "serious journalistic" coverage given to this story. Tabloid shows like Entertainment Tonight and The Insider have shown no restraint in sensationalizing this very sad srory. I believe they should be accountable for perpetuating the"entertainment" value of Anna Nicloe dispite her odvious problems while she was alive. Having lost my mother two weeks ago, I don't believe anyone involved in this story, from the reporters to the lawyers to the "loved ones" involved have an ounce of true grief for this very sad women and her very sad demise.

    I am sorry about your mother. I lost my mom years ago and there is not a day goes by that I don't miss her, think about her and smile at the good memories. I know you are hurting right now so take care Arleen

  don't you realize he needed her alive that if she died he was alone,he was back to being nobody ... she was a needy girl and he met those needs (right or wrong ) 24-7. I feel sorry for him.

  I think it all sounded so beautiful and yet her mom made it once again so tragic.

  I am glad the other two did right by her with a service that was like her.

  Who cares if it was over the top or she wore a tiara ?

  She was a star .... I been to funerals where normal everyday women had on a tiara. I think it is a sweet touch if you are like that in real life.

  Well, stardom-in-death. But the rather cheesy kind, which was, I'm afraid, ANS's (preferred) brand.

  This sort of stuff is endlessly interesting because it writes our culture, or part of it, large. ANS stands for something, else we wouldn't be so involved--but exactly what? Our own wish to transcend the everyday? Sort of like what religion addresses and promises to provide....

  If Pope John Paul II could be humbly buried in a pine box, then I don't understand why there has to be such glitz and glamor for a person who was basically just a slu* who slept her way up to the top..... Have they found out who the father of her kid is yet?

    She was just so beautiful and so wildly different.

  Well let me put in my CSI training opinion...lol

  Stern makes up the original will which leaves everything to the son, gets Anna pregnant, Anna has baby does not revise will, son dies, no will to go by so everything is obviously left to the baby Dannielynn. Stern keeps baby and the millions left behind. I think it is sad that everyone will be fighting for that baby now. The kid should live a happy life with extensive friends and family of her mom instead of being fought over. Just an opinion don't get upset and too critical.

  I think we need to accept that her life is of interest--and why shouldn't it be? It's a true American saga in the best rags-to-riches vein; it involves big bucks and a son's suicide and inter-generational sex and a mysterious death and drugs and questions of paternity and big bucks, and, and, and...

  Not to mention the iconic or emblematic significance of ANS herself. And PS, ragtime, I think she got to be herself 24-7--and in ways few of us do.

  Ok really, with all due respect to the dead, i don't get why we're making a big deal. People die everyday. People who didn't make their career topless dancing and making pornos. We're making it seem like she was a great person, but i would never want my child to idolize that. We should just let her family alone to grieve, because honestly, i don't care.
