The group probably broke up because boy bands are becoming increasingly unpopular, and these boys were getting old enough to want to pursue their own personal careers. As to Bass being gay, it's not a surprise to me, I'm sure many of us knew long before now, and I'm happy that he can finally come out and not have to live within the binds of accepted society.

As to CapnBudda's comment, People is just a middle and upper class rag magazine. It's like the Weekly World News, except on nicer paper, and with fewer articles about aliens.

He must really be hard up for publicity. It's tough with Justin Timberlake not being around anymore. How come he didn't come out a few years ago when nSYNCH was still in the spotlight? I love how former and current celebrities use "human interest" stories to call attention to themselves. Maybe he figures he'll get a book or solo album deal out of it.

When I met him in Orlando and took a picture with him outside a restuarant when he was with his family, I knew he was gay then and that was back in 2001. I still have that picture and he still is gay :-) I am happy that he decided to come out. His sexual preference does not define him as a human being unless he allows it too. Don't worry Blacksheep...I'm sure you're in no danger of being hit on by any gays. It's usually the one's who would never be of any interest to most gays, who think they are irresistable. lol
