Mr. Jolie is throwing a contest to find a young architect with a new, environmentally friendly vision for the devastated metropolis. He will head a jury of local leaders and architects in choosing six finalists who will then work on more detailed proposals with locals.

I think with all the tabloid coverage of Angelina Jolie and Pitt, I am not sure whether to applaud their numerous humanitarian efforts or to pessimistically think that it is all just a big PR game. If this does help New Orleans, however, I am all for it.

Ha! I don\'t know. It\'s kind of odd the way they\'re helping out with this, but they\'ve sort of jumped ship on America, making their kids natives of another country, etc. Nothing really wrong with it. Just odd.

Brad Pitt likes architecture a lot. He\'s good pals with Frank Gehry. He probably would have liked to be an architect if not an actor. Brad, money-wise, you made the right choice.

I think anyone in a financial position to do something like this should do it, and I applaud his efforts. If it\'s discovered later that he did it to make money from returning residents then I\'ll curse his name and girlcott his films! Does anyone know which areas he\'s proposing re-building? Like, say, the Ninth Ward?
